Have you updated your drivers? I had the "same issue" but only with the shaders not being up to date.

Start thinking to use the Procurer or a Skiff with Medium shield expander. A procurer with medium shield skill, you get about 15k hp of shield alone. If you add resist you'll tank way better. Take care!
